The 6th Bry-Air Awards for Excellence in HVAC&R was held on Friday, 25th February 2011 at the Airforce Auditorium, New Delhi. The Awards coincided with ACREX 2011.
The Chief Guest at the Awards function was Dr. Ashwini Kumar, the Honourable Minister of State for Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Planning & Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Delivering the keynote address to the gathering of 1000 plus industry members from India and world over, Dr. Ashwini Kumar shared his “Innovision” of creating a framework for evolving an Indian model of inclusive growth, develop and champion innovative attitudes and approaches, identify ways and means to scale and sustain innovation, facilitate innovations by SMEs and encourage academic and R&D establishments for innovations. The Speech fired the imagination of the listeners.

The nominations were adjudged by a highly distinguished and independent Jury.
Bry-Air instituted the Bry-Air Awards for Excellence in HVAC&R in 2005 recognising that innovators need to be encouraged.
